Last week, we went on a mini-vacation. We caught a sold-out afternoon RedHawks game (they won!) and went 18 holes at Thunder Mountain. We finished off the day at the Fargo Street Fair. The next day, we spent some time in the boat and at the beach at Big Cormorant.

Just for you, Katie!
Post #2: Summer has been busy for us but we've been having lots of fun. We spend every nice weekend that we can at Bryce's cabin on Upper Cormorant or out in the boat somewhere. We had a fabulous Fourth of July weekend but my memory stick was full so no pix! Oh, and big surprise....we have some kittens again. Ugh! More later...

BjerkeBlog Editor Signing In...

Just before midnight on a Saturday night and it seemed like a good idea to create a blog. Everyone is blogging and I'm feeling behind. I'm pretty sure I've been doing the same activity on my Facebook "what Jennie is doing right now" entry for about a month, so that's a good indication of how much this BjerkeBlog will be updated.
Not much new at the Ranch. We're both busy with work; and Dawson, well, he should be moving out soon. He's a big boy, goes to preschool, knows it all, and rules the roost around here. Maybe he'll just kick us out instead. But anyway, he's turning four on Earth Day so maybe we'll plant a tree or something. Either that or not flush our toilets for that entire day. :-)

We recently returned back to winter from a family trip to sunny, summery Florida. We were celebrating Brian's mom & dad's 40th Anniversary with a week of family togetherness. We had great weather and a great time. Lots of fun memories.
